The Dark Knight is coming out on DVD next Tuesday!

While I may have had some qualms about buying Hellboy II on DVD, I have no hesitation when it comes to The Dark Knight, which comes out on DVD next Tuesday.

I have to admit that although I truly enjoy most Marvel and DC movies, I probably wouldn’t be first in line on opening night if it weren’t for my fanboy fiancé. The Dark Knight, however, was different. I actually volunteered to go see it a second time in the theater. It’s fast-paced, complicated and takes on some tough moral quandaries. I couldn’t take all of it in the first time. And of course Heath Ledger gives a stellar (and terrifying) performance as the Joker.

OK, I’ll stop gushing now—it’s just a few more days until you can watch The Dark Knight in the comfort in your very own home.
