IMPACT and North Light authors selected for Spectrum 16

North Light Books, IMPACT’s sister imprint, is proud to have one of its authors share in the fantasy art spotlight. Lisa L. Cyr, author of Art Revolution (on shelves June 30th) has been selected to have her demo piece The Courageous appear in Spectrum 16: The Best in Contemporary Fantastic Art (Sept. 2009). Future IMPACT author Tom Kidd also made the list. Kudos to both artists!

Materials: ripped, cut, riveted and punched textured paper, tissue, ephemera, sticks, gold thread and decorative metal accents
Techniques: collage, assemblage, embossing, debossing, monoprinting, sponging and palette knife
Surfaces: linen canvas over Masonite and board with wooden framework
