Visit IMPACT Books at San Diego Comic Con!

With 4th of July weekend behind us, it’s time for the IMPACT staff to begin gearing up for San Diego Comic Con–one of THE highlights of the year.

If you’re in the area, stop by our booth for author signings, contests and giveaways. You’ll also have the opportunity to meet some of IMPACT’s most accomplished authors including:

Peter David–famed writer for Hulk, X-Factor and about a million other comic books, novels and screenplays, and author of Writing for Comics and Graphic Novels With Peter David.

Scape Martinez–Graffiti artist, muralist, clothing designer, educator and author of GRAFF: The Art & Technique of Graffiti.

Chris Ryall–publisher at IDW and co-author of Comic Books 101.

Scott Tipton–Comics 101 website editor and co-author of Comic Books 101.

Andy Schmidt–Senior editor at IDW, founder of Comics Experience and author of The Insider’s Guide to Creating Comics and Graphic Novels.

Brian Miller–of Hi-Fi Colour Design and author of Hi-Fi Color for Comics.

Also, be sure to check out IMPACT’s popular panel, IMPACT University:  How to Write and Draw Comics, Graphic Novels and Fantasy, on Friday, at 3:00 p.m., in Room 30CDE.  Panelists include Peter David, Andy Schmidt , Scott Tipton, Chris Ryall and Brian Miller.

AND stop by for a portfolio review with Pam Wissman, editorial director for IMPACT, in the Traditional Portfolio Review Area, on Saturday, 3:00 – 7:00 p.m.
