SDCC 2015 Wrap Up Part One

San Diego Comic Con always gives us a bunch of exciting stuff. New footage, new announcements, so many things to geek out about! SDCC is definitely sensory overload and even if you’re there, you can miss a bunch of things. There are a ton of panels all happening at once and unfortunately you can’t be at every one, unless you’ve got superpowers! So we’ve got you covered. Here’s part one of SDCC 2015, with some of the exciting bits of news from the con:

Heroes is coming back, this time as Heroes Reborn. I loved this show, but like many fans I wasn’t super happy with how it all ended. I have to say though, Heroes Reborn is looking promising. SDCC gave us a longer trailer with very interesting new footage. Will you be watching?

The first official look at the new Ghostbusters crew has been released:

Basically everyone I know is excited for Star Wars The Force Awakens. So naturally their panel in Hall H was a big event at the con this year. The released some new footage, featuring a lot of behind the scenes looks at filming. I love seeing all the hard work that has gone into making the new film and this is making me even more excited! Look at those costumes, the props, the real sets!

For those of us who couldn’t be at the Star Wars panel itself, the whole thing is luckily online now! Check out the Force Awakens panel:

Being a huge Doctor Who fan, I was waiting with bated breath for any and all Doctor Who announcements from the con. This year was Peter Capaldi’s first time to San Diego since he hasn’t been the new doctor for very long. Check out the series 9 trailer and the Doctor Who panel from the convention:

Check back tomorrow for part two of our San Diego Comic Con wrap up! What’s your favorite part of going to a convention?
