Throw Back Thursday: Maureen Carlson

For today’s Throw Back Thursday, we’ll be featuring our very own IMPACT author Maureen Carlson, and all of her books! And don’t miss out because there’s going to be a surprise appearance from Maureen’s newest book, Clay Creation Workshop, which is now available for pre-order!

So, without further ado…

According to Maureen, ever since she can remember, she’s been making things up. Her mother helped cater to her daughter’s wildly active imagination by making sure that there were always art supplies scattered around, as well as fascinating books, mischievous pets and other things to discover. Her family lived on a farm with a big garden next to the woods, and oftentimes the things that Maureen found on hikes became her art materials. She learned to look at life through curious eyes. And, thanks to those early years, Maureen now knows that there will always be something to do, something to explore and something to create. She says she’ll never be able to do all of the things on her lists because, of course, they’re always expanding.

So check out Clay Characters for Kids, Crazy Clay Creatures and Freaky Funny Clay to try and discover your inner artist! And don’t miss out on Maureen’s newest book: Clay Creation Workshop!
