Monsters University: Sneak Peek at a Goblin

I can barely keep my anticipation level down as I await the day when Monsters University finally hits theaters! I knew I couldn’t be alone in my excitement, so I thought I’d have a little fun and post a few official clips. The first is of the official movie trailer that, if you haven’t seen it yet, then you MUST!

Although there’s no doubt that there will be surprises galore in this throw back to Monsters, INC. I think I’m mostly looking forward to the good ol’ camaraderie and delightful bickering between Sulley and Mike. I’m already wondering about what crazy antics they’ll get up to, especially now that they’re fresh faced college students! I’m not going to lie, first Hogwarts and now Monsters University – I’m really starting to get jealous of all these fictional kids who get to go to these majorly cool schools. Come on, let’s be serious, who wouldn’t have fun waking up for school everyday? I mean, check it out, MU is totally the place to be!

Also, I can’t wait to see all the new and old characters (please, please, please let Roz pop up somewhere) that will be joining Sulley and Mike along for their ride. And if you’re anything like me, then I’m sure you can hardly contain your zealous nature either. So if you find yourself just too excited to sit still for one more minute, try checking out Maureen Carlson’s Crazy Clay Creatures to get an idea for designing your own version of a monster. She has a really great version of a Goblin that I think would easily get accepted into Monsters University!

Check out Maureen Carlson’s books Crazy Clay Creatures and Freaky Funny Clay to learn how to make some funky, scarey and oh-so-freaky creatures like the monsters you see around every corner of Monsters University!
