Comic Book Covers Get Recreated With Lego

From Star Wars to Walking Dead and DC Comics to Marvel, Lego artists covered a broad spectrum of interests when they recreated these comic book covers with Legos. The Comic Bricks Art Show was on display at DesignerCon this year and called for artists to take comic book covers from 2-D to 3-D. The results are impressive. The artists really thought about all the little details when they were picking their Lego pieces!

I love that a few really make the full cover, background and all. The Hulk, Akira and Star Wars recreations have everything, not just the figures. All those little pieces must have taken a while to pull together. The final product is awesome and totally worth it though. If Lego sold kits to make these comic book covers I know I would want to buy one!

Quite a few different artists contributed to this exhibit so make sure to head on to Flickr to see the full gallery of impressive Lego creations.
